- Niyyah
- Make a list of all the goals you intend to complete during Ramadhan making sure they are clear and achievable - also include how you will achieve each goal so you are as productive as possible

- Salah
- Start praying all the 5 fardh prayers if you don’t already
- Make sure you pray them all on time
- Try to improve your khushoo in your salah
- Incorporate sunnah prayers when possible

- Quran
- Start reading Quran at least once a day or a few ayahs a day to start building the habit
- Make a plan and schedule when you will read the Quran during Ramadhan (aim to finish the whole Quran at least once)
- Find some reciters to listen to on the days where you cannot read the Quran or for when you are travelling/cooking etc.

- Charity
- Set up an automated charity system that allows you to give even as little as £1 every day during the month of Ramadhan
- Give out dates and food to your local masjid if you can or even just help out

- Learn
- Go to your local masjid or even go on Youtube and watch/listen to lectures and videos about Ramadhan and educate yourself about the blessed month
- This will help you get into the mindset of Ramadhan and make you feel more prepared to take advantage of all the opportunities during this month

- Limit social media
- During Ramadhan, you want to be spending as much time possible with the Quran and doing ibadaat so you won’t have time to mindlessly scroll on social media
- Limit yourself to a certain amount of time daily or even delete the app if you feel like you cannot control yourself
- Replace your time with more beneficial activities such as dhikr, listening to islamic podcasts and quran

- Plan everything
- Make a meal plan for all the food that you want to cook for iftaar and suhoor
- Make a list of all the knowledge that you want to acquire this month
- Plan the times when you are going to read Quran and when you are going to do your housework
- Make sure you plan around salahs and prioritise the things that will bring you benefits in the akhirah rather than worldy activities
